چکیده
مقدمه:نشانه‌های آسیب‌شناختی اعتیاد به اینترنت از زمره مواردی است که نیازمند توجه درمان‌گران روان‌شناختی است. ویژگی‌های شخصیتی افراد معتاد به اینترنت به دلیل شیوع قابل توجه آن از جمله نشانه‌های شخصیتی قابل توجه است. بر همین اساس، این پژوهش با هدف تعیین نقش اعتیاد به اینترنت بر سلامت روانی و تصویر بدنی اجرا شد.
روش: روش پژوهش از نوع همبستگی است. پژوهش میان 323 نفر(244 زن، 79 مرد) از دانشجویان دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی واحد تهران جنوب با روش نمونه‌برداری بر اساس قاعده سر انگشتی و پژوهش‌های معمول هر گروه صدنفری انجام شد. از دانشجویان خواسته شد به آزمون اعتیاد به اینترنت (یانگ، 1998م)، پرسشنامه سلامت روانی (گلدبرگ،1972م) و پرسشنامه چند بُعدی بدن-خود (کش، 1990م) پاسخ دهند. داده‌ها از طریق تحلیل کوواریانس و آزمون M باکس تحلیل گردید. در تحلیل داده‌ها از جدیدترین نسخه نرم افزار اس. پی. اس. اس استفاده شد.
نتایج: نتایج نشان داد که اعتیاد به اینترنت در کاهش سلامت روانی (01 /0 P<) و به‌هم‌ریختگی تصویر بدنی (07/0 P<) نقش دارد.
بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به یافته مطالعه حاضر، روان‌شناسان و درمان‌گران می‌توانند از طریق مهار استفاده از اینترنت به بهبود سلامت روانی و جلوگیری از به‌هم‌ریختگی تصویر بدنی در نوجوانان و جوانان بپردازند.
