: Adult ADHD is prevalence and attenuator that often remain unrecognized and untreated because most people do not know it. The purpose of this study was to compare the executive function, lifestyle and marital satisfaction with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder with healthy couples


This research is causal-comparative and given the number of variables, Two groups consists of 25 couples and in total 50 couples by available sampling method were determined. Patients selected from parents of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder referred to the Aren center and Noor hedayat elementary schools and The second group couples from spouse who Referred to the Mashhad Melat Park were selected Which in terms age, education, socio- economic class groups were matched with Patients group. Data by using Barkley adult ADHD rating scale (BAARS-IV), Barkley deficit executive functions scale (BDEFS-LF), Kavyani eslamic lifestyle and Enrich couple scale Collected. Data were analyzed with descriptive indices and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) and T test by SPSS software.



Findings showed that executive functions, lifestyle and marital satisfaction patient couples In comparison with normal couples have significant diffrenses. It means, these variables in patient couples have lower scores.

The research showed awareness and intervention therapy for couples who, during marriage or pregnancy and parenting advice are necessary because the disorder disrupts a broad range of life.
